MEMO2 FREELANCERS, 4: INTERVIEW WITH ADAM BLASBERG
In Issue 4 we share our interview with commercial photographer Adam Blasberg. As one of our Business Action Planner Industry Pros he’s not afraid to dive into the dark areas and share with emerging freelancers his path to full time creative work and how he continues to grow his craft and his business. Here’s a short snippet:
“There were times earlier in my career when I didn’t have enough work to pay my bills, and there was no evidence things were going to change. There was no work on the horizon; I didn’t have a clear idea of what I was doing or where I was headed. There were years where I lacked clarity in my goals and my process. But I was always confident I was going to succeed. I was always confident I was on the right path and that giving up wasn’t an option!”
We also give a shout out to our friends at Maptia—an inspiring travel and storytelling community, the awesome wizardry of Freshbooks—cloud accounting built with creative freelancers in mind, and one of my favourite business books—insights on how to sell your ideas thanks to Sam Harrison.
This issue is available in both PDF and Evernote® formats.
